Our modern equipment integrates advanced systems including 3D GPS machine control, AI human‑detection safety features, and real‑time asset monitoring. BULK CLAY CUT & Landfill lining

Scope of Works:
Down To Earth was appointed to deliver large‑scale bulk excavation and earthworks operations, involving the excavation and movement of approximately 450,000m³ of on‑site clay materials. This material was transported to a neighbouring landfill facility, where it was placed, spread, and re‑compacted to form part of the site’s engineered capping and restoration works.

Scope of Works:
Down To Earth was engaged to relocate approximately 3,000m³ of previously stockpiled soils on site and to construct a new screening bund as part of wider site improvements.
SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Client: Suez R&R UK
Principal Contractor: Down To Earth
Duration: 2023
Scope of Works:
Down To Earth successfully delivered a major Surface Water Management (SWM) scheme designed to connect two landfill areas and improve long‑term environmental resilience. The project began with the topsoil strip of approximately 20,000m², followed by 7,000m³ of cut‑to‑fill earthworks to reprofile the site and establish the required formation levels.
