REMEDIATION OF SANG AREA

Scope of Works:
Down To Earth, in partnership with A&J Waste, was appointed to deliver the full remediation of multiple development plots and the designated SANG area for Vistry. The project involved comprehensive testing and removal of contaminated materials, alongside on‑site soil treatment to enable re‑use wherever viable. To complete the restoration, fully certificated fill materials and high‑quality topsoil were imported and placed, ensuring the sites met all regulatory and environmental standards for future development.
Hazardous soil treatment

Scope of Works:
Down To Earth carried out the on‑site testing, classification, and removal of hazardous soils from an isolated stockpile of suspected contaminated material. Following analysis, the soils were safely excavated and removed from site to allow other construction and operational activities to continue without disruption. All materials were transported to a fully permitted treatment facility, ensuring compliant disposal and full environmental assurance throughout the process.
Restoration of RAIL-SIDE Field

Scope of Works:
Down To Earth successfully restored agricultural grazing land previously utilised as a lay‑down area by Octavius during rail works. The project involved the careful removal of non‑compliant materials, followed by on‑site soil treatment and testing to maximise reuse wherever suitable. Once the area was cleared and validated, subsoils were fully de‑compacted to reinstate proper ground structure.
